Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' physical therapy needs, including assessing mobility, strength, and coordination.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at restoring function, enhancing mobility, and reducing pain.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring adequate attention and tailored care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality treatments that minimize the need for medications and surgical interventions.
• Incorporate various rehabilitation methodologies, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise protocols, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting care plans based on evaluations and feedback.
• Encourage patients to adhere to their rehab regimens and motivate them to achieve their personal health and fitness goals.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient treatment.
• Educate patients and their families about the therapy process, promoting understanding and compliance with their care plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients dealing with orthopedic issues, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and age-related conditions affecting movement and balance. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in the comprehensive recovery processes of diverse patient demographics, fostering physical well-being and independence.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• An exemplary professional history with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a proven track record in developing customized exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, particularly WebPT, to input and track patient data efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings preferred. Candidates with a solid background in physical therapy techniques within similar fields will be highly regarded.
• A strong commitment to continuing education and professional development in emerging therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, reflecting your experience and expertise in the field.
