Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, allowing for face-to-face interactions with patients and interdisciplinary team members. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities, establishing comprehensive treatment plans that align with their goals.
• Consult with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and communicate effectively regarding patient progress.
• Engage respectfully with patients of diverse backgrounds, maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Implement and modify treatment interventions based on ongoing evaluation and feedback, re-evaluating patients regularly to track progress.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with referral sources and physicians.
• Participate in leadership functions including community outreach and program development while supervising support staff and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Remain abreast of developments in physical therapy practices through self-directed learning and participation in professional development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations by maintaining meticulous documentation of services and communications.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our therapists work closely with patients to create customized treatment plans that address a wide range of orthopedic needs, focusing on functional improvement, pain reduction, and enhancing overall quality of life.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and have a current state license in Physical Therapy. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, alongside proficiency in word processing and other healthcare-related software. Additionally, current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Preferred Experience

While a Bachelor's degree is the baseline educational requirement, candidates with advanced training in orthopedic rehabilitation or previous experience in home care settings will be given preference. Experience working with diverse patient populations and a proven ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams will also be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
