Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients to accurately identify their goals and specific rehabilitation needs.
• Manage and maintain a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and personalized treatment sessions.
• Educate patients about their conditions and provide cost-effective, evidence-based treatments aimed at improving their range of motion and overall mobility.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities and exercise protocols.
• Design and promote tailored wellness and fitness programs to support patients in their recovery journeys.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously through our WebPT EMR system, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Encourage patients to adopt healthier lifestyles through strength-building exercises, flexibility training, and enhancing balance and coordination.
• Provide motivation and support to patients throughout their treatment, fostering an environment that inspires confidence in their abilities.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations of treatment effectiveness and communicate clearly with patients and their families regarding progress and goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic primarily consists of individuals with orthopedic conditions requiring intervention for muscle, joint, and post-surgical rehabilitation. You will engage with patients ranging from athletes recovering from injuries to older adults seeking to improve functional independence. This diverse caseload allows for varied therapeutic approaches and fosters an enriching learning environment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid Florida Physical Therapist license.
• A clean professional record without board actions or disciplinary records.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and crafting exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, specifically WebPT, to document patient care effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• A solid understanding of sports medicine principles and rehabilitation practices.
• Ability to design effective fitness plans that align with rehabilitation goals.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, falling between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
