Flexi Flow Rehab is looking for a committed and skilled Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Saint Petersburg, Florida. In this full-time role, you will play an integral part in helping patients reclaim their mobility and improve their quality of life. This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000–120,000 per year, along with comprehensive benefits.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at our rehabilitation center, where teamwork and collaboration are highly valued. You will work in a supportive environment alongside two fellow physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), allowing for knowledge sharing and professional development. We prioritize high-quality patient care and strive to create a welcoming atmosphere that fosters healing and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the specific needs and rehabilitation goals of each patient.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans using a variety of therapeutic modalities to maximize patient outcomes.
• Manage a patient caseload, treating 2-3 patients per hour, while ensuring each receives high-quality, evidence-based therapy.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and other interventions to enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on outcomes and feedback.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide cohesive care and recommend non-surgical intervention options when appropriate.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment strategies, and self-management techniques.
• Inspire and empower patients to take active roles in their recovery, promoting an atmosphere of motivation and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes athletes from various sports, as well as individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries or other physical limitations. At Flexi Flow Rehab, we focus on rehabilitation that prioritizes mobility enhancement, pain management, and improving overall physical performance.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Must possess a valid State Physical Therapist License, with no disciplinary action against it.
• Strong manual therapy skills and experience in outpatient orthopedic care.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient clinic setting leading physical therapy sessions.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• A proven ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
