Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our advanced Rehabilitation Center where you will work closely with a team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our facility is designed to provide comprehensive outpatient orthopedic services, ensuring our patients benefit from cutting-edge technology and treatment modalities. The work schedule is set from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to develop individualized care plans aimed at restoring patient mobility and function.
• Manage a patient load of approximately one patient per hour, utilizing your expertise to implement effective treatment strategies.
• Implement evidence-based practices and personalized interventions to enhance patient outcomes in mobility and physical capabilities.
• Engage patients in tailored fitness and wellness programs that cater to their specific recovery needs and goals.
• Document treatment progress meticulously, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting care plans based on patient feedback and progress.
• Advocate for a healthy lifestyle by promoting strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination in clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions that affect their mobility. This role requires a compassionate approach to care, ensuring that patients feel supported throughout their rehabilitation journey. Your ability to motivate and engag patients will be key to their recovery and overall satisfaction with their treatment experience.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent from an accredited program.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Saint Petersburg, Florida, with a clean record free from board actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective therapeutic exercise regimens.
• Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is essential, with a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT or similar platforms, for documentation and patient management.
• Individuals with advanced certifications in specialized treatment techniques or rehabilitative methodologies will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, reflecting your experience and expertise.
