Life Point Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist for a full-time position based in our Saint Petersburg, Florida rehabilitation center. Work Environment

The rehabilitation center spans 5,000 square feet, designed specifically for sports medicine and rehabilitation therapies. Key Responsibilities

• Assess each patient's unique needs by conducting thorough evaluations and history-taking to establish individualized treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, managing a caseload of one patient per hour to ensure focused and personalized care.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, to improve patient outcomes and enhance functional mobility.
• Implement and monitor progression of treatment regimens, adjusting care plans based on patient responsiveness and progress.
• Educate patients on strategies to reduce dependency on pain medications and promote alternative non-surgical interventions.
• Encourage adherence to tailored fitness and wellness programs that empower patients to take charge of their health and well-being.
• Document all patient encounters, interventions, and outcomes clearly and thoroughly in accordance with our electronic medical records system.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to provide holistic care and ensure optimal treatment results.
• Track and evaluate treatment outcomes, actively engaging in discussions to enhance care practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.

• Strong capability and experience in manual therapy techniques to facilitate recovery.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner in working with diverse patients.
• Familiarity with WebPT or similar electronic medical record (EMR) software preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and competency in designing exercise protocols tailored to different patient needs.
• Ability to create engaging and motivational programs that drive patient compliance and satisfaction.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for continuing education funding.
