Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including assessments of their physical capabilities and limitations, to develop customized treatment plans tailored to their specific orthopedic needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance mobility and alleviate pain.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on at-home exercise programs, self-management techniques, and preventive measures to promote long-term health.
• Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care for patients.
• Participate in staff meetings and case discussions to share insights and continuously improve therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our clients range from active athletes to older adults seeking to regain mobility and independence after an injury. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid and active state licensure to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in a similar setting, demonstrating proficiency in orthopedic physical therapy techniques.
• Strong understanding of the anatomy, physiology, and treatment protocols associated with orthopedic conditions.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with advanced clinical techniques, including but not limited to, dry needling, electrotherapy, and aquatic therapy.
• Active engagement in professional development or continuing education related to orthopedic therapy.
