Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work onsite in our vibrant outpatient office, which fosters collaboration and teamwork among healthcare providers. The environment is fast-paced and dynamic, yet supportive, as you engage with patients experiencing various orthopedic conditions. Your regular work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while you focus on delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with a wide range of orthopedic diagnoses, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans that prioritize maximizing patient function, setting realistic goals, and promoting independence.
• Document patient progress, including objective measurements and revised treatment goals, in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, rehabilitation processes, and preventive measures for ongoing health.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, including recommendations for appropriate medical equipment to facilitate patient recovery.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on post-operative orthopedic patients, including those recovering from joint replacements, ligament repairs, and sports injuries. You will engage with a diverse demographic, encompassing all age groups, and will adapt treatment approaches to meet individual needs, ensuring each patient receives tailored care based on their specific circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required. Candidates with a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy are preferred.
• An active physical therapy license in the state of Florida is mandatory for this position.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams are essential.

Preferred Experience

• At least 3 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic setting, demonstrating a focus on assessing and treating musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
• Experience implementing evidence-based practices and methodologies in rehabilitation programs to maximize patient outcomes.
• Ability to confidently assess and document patient progress, adapt therapeutic interventions, and provide patient education.

Compensation and Benefits
