Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our outpatient facility in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Our clinic operates within a close-knit team of healthcare professionals who are committed to continuous learning and professional development. You will be working standard hours from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while being actively engaged in patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized physical therapy services to patients by assessing their needs and creating individualized treatment plans that align with their unique rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, which allows for quality time with each patient, ensuring they receive the focused attention they need.
• Utilize expert knowledge in orthopedic outpatient care to implement effective treatment strategies, drawing from previous professional experience to design targeted exercises and interventions.
• Employ cost-effective treatment modalities and techniques aimed at enhancing patients' movement capabilities, thereby encouraging their active participation in daily life.
• Focus on non-surgical options to alleviate pain and improve function while minimizing reliance on pharmaceutical interventions.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle choices by promoting comprehensive wellness programs tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
• Conduct regular evaluations of treatment efficacy, adjusting plans according to progress and feedback.
• Keep thorough documentation of patient care activities and outcomes to ensure transparency and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other healthcare providers, to deliver cohesive patient care, sharing insights and strategies to improve treatment outcomes.
• Motivate and support patients through their rehabilitation journey, celebrating milestones and helping them overcome challenges.

The patients at Body Dynamics range from athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly individuals working to regain mobility and independence. We cater to a diverse population, providing services for various orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. By having a strong focus on each individual's recovery journey, we strive to tailor our services to meet their specific needs and challenges.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A clean record with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional skill in utilizing various manual therapy techniques tailored to individual patient needs.
• Adept at developing and implementing effective exercise programs designed to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, for documenting patient care and progress accurately.
• Commitment to staying current with the latest research and best practices in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting, preferably focused on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience with sports medicine or active rehabilitation programs will be an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and enhance their treatment experience.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
