Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations tailored to each patient's individual needs by reviewing their medical history, implementing specific assessment techniques, and developing evidence-based treatment plans.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and their families, ensuring shared decision-making in setting realistic and achievable goals.
• Deliver targeted therapeutic interventions and continuously adapt treatment strategies based on patient responses and changes in their health status.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, recognizing when to consult or modify treatment plans based on observed changes in patient conditions.
• Document all patient care activities meticulously, including initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, interim progress summaries, and discharge evaluations, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Manage your schedule effectively to meet productivity expectations while maintaining timely attendance for meetings and consultations.
• Contribute to departmental goals by actively participating in professional development initiatives, engaging in marketing activities, and pursuing continuing education opportunities.
• Enhance the patient experience through flexible and adaptable service delivery and participate in initiatives aimed at improving access to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a member of our esteemed clinical team, you will primarily work with a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Your role will focus on supporting each patient's recovery journey, providing tailored interventions that enhance mobility, alleviate pain, and improve overall functional capabilities.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• A commitment to professional development and continuing education.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
