Customer Service Representative

$1821/hour Full-time opportunity in Hunt Valley, Maryland Schedule: MondayFriday, daytime hours (five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts); no weekends

In Your Day-to-Day, You Will:

• Welcome clients and patients while providing exceptional customer service from check-in through discharge.
• Manage a multi-line phone system, scheduling appointments and assisting clients with questions and requests.
• Coordinate communication between clients, referring veterinarians, and the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate client and patient records using hospital software systems.
• Process client transactions and assist with administrative responsibilities that support daily hospital operations.
• Provide compassionate support to clients during emotionally challenging situations.
• Work efficiently and independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced specialty environment.
• Learn and utilize hospital software systems, including EzyVet and SmartFlow, as needed.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.

What You Bring

• Minimum of one year of experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Previous veterinary industry experience preferred.
• Strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative team.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Experience managing multi-line phone systems.
• Experience with EzyVet and SmartFlow is a plus.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional client service and patient care.
