Janitorial Account Manager

Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold) is seeking a Janitorial Manager for our client in Mishawaka IN who is a creative energetic individual with a Whatever It Takes attitude in fulfilling their job duties.

The Janitorial Account Manager is responsible for overseeing all cleaning and maintenance operations within a shopping mall environment. This role ensures high standards of cleanliness safety and customer satisfaction while managing janitorial staff vendor relationships and client expectations.

Management

• Oversee daily janitorial operations including interior and exterior cleaning restrooms food court areas and common spaces
• Ensure compliance with cleaning schedules and quality standards
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain a clean safe mall environment

Staff Supervision

• Recruit train schedule and supervise janitorial team members
• Monitor performance and provide coaching feedback and disciplinary actions when needed
• Ensure proper staffing levels for peak and off-peak hours

Client Relations

• Serve as the primary point of contact for mall management and tenants
• Address concerns complaints and service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction

Quality Control

• Implement and maintain cleaning standards and procedures
• Perform routine audits and inspections
• Ensure use of proper cleaning methods equipment and chemicals

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all staff follow OSHA and company safety policies
• Maintain proper documentation for safety incidents and compliance
• Conduct safety training and enforce safe work practices

Budget & Inventory Management

• Manage labor costs supplies and equipment budgets
• Order and maintain inventory of cleaning products and equipment
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality

Equipment Management

• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized cleaning or maintenance services
• Ensure equipment is maintained repaired or replaced as needed
