About the RoleWe are looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations and help scale a best-in-class finance function. This role will own key accounting processes including AP, AR, month-end close, and international subsidiary accounting, while also managing outsourced accounting partners and supporting audit readiness.This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building structure, improving processes, and ensuring financial accuracy across a growing global organization. This is a key hire who will play a critical role in scaling our accounting function.How You’ll Make ImpactOwn and oversee day-to-day core accounting operations, including general ledger activities, timely and accurate transaction recording and reconciliationsManage and improve Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processesMaintain strong internal controls and accounting policiesLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure close timelines are met with high accuracy and consistencyPartner cross-functionally to gather and validate financial dataOversee accounting for our India subsidiary, with potential to support additional international entities as we expandCoordinate with local service providers and advisors to ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirementsSupport audit readiness efforts, including preparing reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation; ensure financial records and workpapers are complete, accurate, and audit-readyCoordinate with external auditors and respond to audit requestsAssist in implementing audit recommendations and improving controlsIdentify opportunities to streamline processes and automate workflowsHelp scale accounting infrastructure and systems as the company growsDrive continuous improvement in reporting accuracy and efficiencyWhat You’ll BringBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public and/or industry experienceStrong knowledge of US GAAP (and exposure to international accounting is a plus)Proven experience managing month-end close in a fast-paced environmentHands-on experience with AP, AR, and general ledger accountingExperience working with international subsidiaries (India experience a plus, not required)Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ownership mindsetExcellent communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionallyExperience with ERP and spend-management systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Bill.com, Brex, and Ramp) preferredLocationThis is a hybrid role based in our Palo Alto HQ. We collaborate in-office 3 days a week.Base SalaryThe base salary range for this role is $130,000-$160,000.
