INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPERVISOR II

Senior Project Manager – Information Technology Supervisor II Salary: $8,504.00 – $11,395.00 per month (minimum salary for New to State candidates) Location: California Air Resources Board (CARB) Responsibilities Lead complex IT projects through all lifecycle stages, including risk and issue management, coordinating scrum teams, and ensuring adherence to CDT policies, Project Approval lifecycle, California Project Management Framework, and SIMM requirements. Collaborate with program leads, CDT, Department of Finance, and CARB executives to acquire project approvals and develop related documents for submission to CARB Executive, Cal EPA, and CDT. Represent CARB in internal and external meetings; manage staff and vendors supporting PMO efforts; provide oversight and direction for successful IT project delivery. Ensure project expenditures align with business needs and CARB mission. Qualifications (Minimum) Experience in IT project management and alignment with project management methodologies. Knowledge of CDT policies, Project Approval lifecycle, and California Project Management Framework. Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to manage Scrum teams and resolve blockers. Experience in managing large‑scale IT projects with budget oversight. Desired Qualifications Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master certification. Experience with CDT Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) methodology. Demonstrated experience managing multiple large projects. Vendor/contract management experience. Positive professional attitude, excellent writing and documentation skills.
