About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, evaluation, and management of vendor relationships, as well as the negotiation of contracts. The VP of Procurement will also be accountable for enterprise supplier performance, strategic sourcing initiatives, and supplier governance, and must have a track record of identifying and executing cost savings and operational improvement opportunities. Candidates for the VP of Procurement position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in a procurement-related role, with at least 10 years in a leadership position. The role demands expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management, particularly in the areas of technology, B2B, and consulting services. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to leverage data and market intelligence to drive informed decisions. The VP of Procurement will be expected to have a deep understanding of healthcare operations, procurement practices, and regulatory requirements.
