It recognizes that other related duties not specifically mentioned may also be performed, and that not all responsibilities may be carried out depending on operational needs.**Position Details:*** **Reports** **to:** Contracts Manager* **Position** **Locati**on: Houston, TX* **Position** **Type:** Full-Time* **Compensation:** Commensurate with experience**Essential Job Functions:**The candidate will perform the following essential functions:* Review and evaluate of terms and conditions of RFP/RFQ's.* Drafting, reviewing, evaluation and negotiating of vendor contracts and contracts with federal, state and local customers to ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), other applicable laws and corporate policies and guidelines.* Assist with drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of agreements such as NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Consulting Agreements, License Agreements, Lease Agreements and other contract documents as required.* Liaise with various internal departments to coordinate review and approval of RFP/RFQ and various types of contracts.* Identify and track contract compliance requirements.* Maintains docket and trackers for Contracts and Compliance Department.* Assist with developing and maintaining internal policies.* Liaise with parent company legal department on contract, compliance, and legal issues.* Facilitate delivery of contract and client needs related to packaging and shipping.* Supports the department with clerical and administrative tasks.**Experience and Skill Requirements:*** Experience with standard concepts, practices and procedures relating to federal, state and local government and private sector contracting* Excellent oral and written communication skills* Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects in a changing work environment* Ability to work independently and/or on a team* Strong organizational skills* Exceptional research skills* Proficient computer skills: (including MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint; Adobe Acrobat Professional)**Education Requirements:*** Associates degree or paralegal certificate* Minimum of 3-5 years of contract/compliance administration experience* Or a combination of education and work experience in a related field**Job Description Disclaimer:*** This position description incorporates the core responsibilities of the job.
