Position Location: 211 Travis Ln, Waukesha, WI 53189

Position Hours: 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM Monday - Friday with rotating weekends on call.

Position Wage: $29.25 - $44.46 per hour. (17% shift differential included).

Salaries are based on a number of factors, including the skills and experience of the candidates. It is common to be hired at the lower to middle end of a salary range and while it is possible to be hired at the higher end, it often requires unique circumstances, such as proven expertise.

Job Description:

The Maintenance Mechanic#39;s responsibilities include keeping all production machinery in quot;ready for Servicequot; condition by performing preventative maintenance, as scheduled by our maintenance management software, as well as taking care of day-to-day maintenance issues

Job Duties amp; Responsibilities:

• Repair amp; maintain all plant machinery amp; equipment
• Diagnose machine malfunctions amp; operating difficulties
• Determine need for amp; effect machine repairs amp; adjustments to maintain a reliable operation
• Complete minor electrical work such as motor replacement, fuse replacement, switches, etc.
• Ensure plant organization amp; cleanliness

Minimum Requirements:

Physical amp; Mental Demands: The following physical and mental demands consist of but are not limited to the following:

• Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods in a non-climate controlled industrial environment
• Ability to bend, pull, stoop, and reach to perform functions.
• Capable of lifting and carrying at least 25-pound objects throughout shift
• Must be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, humidity, etc.
• Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.
• Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
• Must demonstrate the ability to perform fundamental mathematical skills and concepts (e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percentages, and the basics of algebra and geometry).
• Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
• Ability to hear in person and via phone.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience : 2+ years in maintenance work required

• Basic knowledge amp; skills in pneumatics, electrical, mechanics, hydraulics, rigging, equipment installation, machine rebuilding, motor amp; drive alignment, measuring equipment amp; fabrication
