The Business Development Manager will be fundamental in growing the business for Sanmina Corporation globally with customers located in the region. The BDM will lead opportunities from origination to post sales-close support. This person must have the ability to establish a sales business plan, execute on that plan and meet the goals set for their region. The person in this role will be accountable for increasing sales with new and existing customers and identifying and pursuing potential Sanmina vertical integration opportunities with customers. This person must have the ability to work seamlessly across multiple groups within Sanmina and provide sales strategy leadership for the local facility team. This person will be responsible for the following:Nature of WorkManage and Develop Existing CustomersProvide local point of contact for customers in region to ensure:Customer expectations are clearly understood, communicated and metSanmina’s operations teams and the customer’s teams are well coordinatedInsure the best business practices are applied to benefit our customersDrive communication with existing customers, participate in QBRs, develop customer strategies, and solve problemsDevelop and strengthen relationships with all levels of customer managementIdentify and implement opportunities to improve service and grow revenueWork with the customer for timely payments, work through E&O issues, and other out of scope charges/costsDevelop relationships with customer engineering teams to learn of new opportunitiesExpand Sanmina’s market share with existing customersDrive Regional Growth with New CustomersDevelop business plan to identify all opportunities in regionAccountable for meeting and exceeding sales revenue targetsBe familiar with the local market, customers and opportunitiesDevelop a professional network to help provide identify and pursue opportunitiesTarget customers, develop relationships, assess opportunities and win new businessWork with Quote teams to coordinate quotation activity on new business opportunitiesHelp to define and support SVA improvement actions defined and committed by the operations/account teamsSupport preparation of proposals, meetings and other activities targeted at customer opportunitiesEducation/Experience Requirements• 8-10 years of experience in a direct customer sales role supporting a large OEM• Direct experience in the EMS industry is strongly preferred• Prior supply chain experience required• Operational experience a plus• Strong written and verbal communication skills is a must• Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree is preferredSanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer – M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity
