About the Role We are seeking a Sanitation Operator to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a Sanitation Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary facility to support food safety, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness across production and support areas. Shift & Schedule Shift: 2nd Hours: 2PM - 10:30PM Weekend availability: Required Compensation Hourly Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing) Maintain sanitary conditions throughout production, office, and support areas to meet food safety and regulatory standards Execute facility and equipment cleaning activities according to established sanitation schedules and procedures Support sanitation of production lines and components during scheduled maintenance and down‑days Operate sanitation equipment, including floor scrubbers, to maintain safe and clean work surfaces Properly collect, remove, and dispose of waste and recyclable materials Maintain sanitation tools and equipment in clean, safe, and operational condition Support audit readiness by preparing the facility for inspections, audits, and customer visits Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table) Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with strong attention to detail Commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion Willingness to work in variable temperature environments (hot, cold, or humid) Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and non‑routine sanitation schedules Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) High School Diploma or GED Prior experience in a food manufacturing or bakery environment Bilingual in English and Spanish Aspire Bakeries LLC values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization.
