Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic procedures, and creating customized care plans
• Diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic conditions, either autonomously or in collaboration with physicians based on your credentials
• Instructing patients and their families on disease prevention, wellness initiatives, and effective management of chronic conditions
• Prescribing medication and treatments within your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and ongoing chronic care management
• Working collaboratively across interdisciplinary teams to guarantee comprehensive and cohesive care
• Maintaining meticulous and precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Ohio
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain them within 90 days)
