Now Hiring: Chef de Cuisine / Executive Sous Chef
\nWashington, DC / Northern Virginia
\n$90,000–$100,000 annually plus benefits and bonus in some cases.
\n \nWe’re seeking a talented culinary leader with an elevated dining background, a meticulous eye for detail, and the financial acumen to lead a successful kitchen.
\n \nThe ideal candidate combines thoughtful menu development with precise execution, bringing consistency to every plate and confident, supportive leadership to every service.
\n \nWhat we’re looking for:
\n• Experience in fine dining or elevated, chef-driven restaurants
\n• Strong menu-writing skills, including seasonal development, recipe testing, costing, and presentation
\n• Excellent culinary technique and high standards for flavor, plating, timing, and consistency
\n• Experience reading and interpreting a P&L , with the ability to translate financial results into decisions about food costs, labor, purchasing, and profitability
\n• Disciplined inventory management, waste reduction, and vendor relationships
\n• Hands-on leadership with a commitment to training, mentoring, and developing a strong culinary team
\n• Clear communication with front-of-house leadership to coordinate pacing, dietary accommodations, and a seamless guest experience
\n• Composure during demanding services and the ability to address challenges while maintaining quality and professionalism
\n \nThis is an opportunity for an established Chef de Cuisine or an accomplished Executive Sous Chef ready to bring creativity, sound business judgment, and pride in their craft to a new team.
