Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Great Lake Behavioral Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Conduct engaging group sessions that promote connection among young adult clients, allowing them to share experiences and learn collaboratively.

• Individual Therapy: Deliver personalized therapy tailored to clients’ unique thought processes, feelings, and behaviors, and work with them to develop effective coping strategies and actionable plans.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and designed to address their specific mental health needs.

• Progress Monitoring: Use a variety of assessment tools to track and evaluate clients' progress and outcomes effectively, ensuring the therapeutic process is responsive to their evolving needs.

• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, facilitate communication, and consult on complex cases to deliver the best possible outcomes for each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are experiencing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationships issues, and life transitions. By providing evidence-based and holistic treatment approaches, you will play a key role in helping them navigate their struggles and achieve lasting recovery.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Texas.

Preferred Experience\n

While prior experience in an outpatient treatment setting is preferred, we value passion and a commitment to mental health over everything else. Familiarity with evidence-based practices in counseling and experience facilitating group therapy are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
