Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews and maintain detailed case documentation from the initial contact through the completion of treatment.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to inform treatment decisions.
\n
• Develop personalized intervention and recovery plans catering to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions aimed at fostering growth and healing.
\n
• Monitor clients’ progress throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to strategies as required.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other mental health professionals, physicians, and social workers, to ensure holistic care.
\n
• Follow up with psychiatrists and attending physicians regarding clients who may require hospitalization or specialized interventions.
\n
• Identify and mitigate behaviors that may hinder recovery, employing preventive measures and support strategies.
\n
• Assist family members and primary caregivers in addressing and managing mental and behavioral challenges within their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele encompasses a broad spectrum of individuals experiencing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. You will work with clients ranging from adolescents to adults, providing support tailored to their unique circumstances. Your expertise will also extend to assisting families in understanding and addressing mental health challenges, elevating the entire support system for our clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Texas.

• Successful completion of relevant examinations, such as the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong foundation in counseling principles supported by previous experience as a mental health counselor.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, for effective documentation and management of client information.

• A solid background in addressing co-occurring physical and emotional health issues, along with addiction disorders.

• Knowledge of the latest practices and guidelines from the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Understanding of pharmacological treatments and their effects, as prescribed by medical professionals.

• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interactions with clients and team members.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
