The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job Overview:
Supports the SVP of Laboratory services, the AVP of Laboratory Quality and the AVP of Laboratory Data Analytics. Assist the service line in scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, typing documents, taking meeting minutes and other administrative tasks as deemed necessary. May offer remote support to the laboratory sites when necessary.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer proficient (word, excel and PowerPoint)
- Able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred:
- Secretarial school graduate preferred
Scheduling Requirements:
- Shift- 8:00am-4:00pm
- Monday-Friday
- Full Time-Day
Essential Functions:
- Provide administrative support for the laboratory service line
- Answers routine phone calls and directs questions appropriately
- Arranges appointments for committees and meetings both internal and external to the organization
- Takes minutes of meetings for laboratory system committees
- Assist SVP and AVPs with powerpoint presentations
- Proficient in the use of excel and word
- Enters purchase requisitions in the system when required
- Performs payroll
- Assists in ensuring service line compliance with mandatory training/education and regulatory compliance
