Staff AccountantLocation: Boca Raton, FL Salary Range: $55,000-$70,000 (Depending on Experience)Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, excellent organizational skills, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesManage the full Accounts Receivable (AR) process, including invoicing and collections.Process Accounts Payable (AP) transactions accurately and timely.Maintain and manage purchase orders (POs) within the accounting system.Prepare and issue customer invoices.Perform monthly bank reconciliations and vendor account reconciliations.Assist with month-end closing activities and ensure accurate financial records.Maintain organized accounting documentation and support audit requests.Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.2+ years of accounting experience in a Staff Accountant or similar role.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus, as the company plans to migrate to this platform next year.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general accounting principles.Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
