Staff Accountant

We are looking for a Staff Accountant with comprehensive knowledge of GL, AR, AP and invoicing. In this role, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for providing support functions to the finance team. This role requires a capable and highly driven individual with the desire to learn and grow in a challenging yet rewarding, fast paced environment. The successful candidate will have their Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. Previous experience in finance within the legal field would be a plus, though not required. The successful candidate should have previous experience in data input and be comfortable working with systems and databases and have strong excel skills. Strong presentation skills are also key. The position resides in Boca Raton Florida and requires a hybrid schedule of three days per week in the office. Specific Responsibilities Include: Perform day to day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable responsibilities Perform all Accounts Payable monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing responsibilities Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payable data Communicate with vendors and resolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation and determining appropriate adjustments Ensure the prompt and accurate payment of invoices; initiate vendor payments to include check, wires, ACH/credit card processing Adherence to Accounting Close schedule Assist with internal and external audits as needed/ special projects Will work closely with the Senior Accountant to assist in processing Accounts Payable, billing and special projects Experience/Skills: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Experience working in Accounting ERP, QuickBooks a plus. Experience in a Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Accounting Close Comprehensive knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivables, invoicing and financial modeling Prior experience with patient medical records, including medical device and pharmaceutical terminology a plus Excellent interpersonal, customer service, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills Team player with a collaborative spirit, cooperative attitude, and ability to work across multiple departments Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on meeting deadlines and addressing urgent situations Strong mathematical and analytical skills Proficiency with Microsoft office tools, PowerPoint a plus Proven to be thorough and exercise attention to detail Highly self-motivated with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload Demonstrates a high level of professionalism with confidential and sensitive information Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance Maintain a confidential, HIPAA compliant environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Talent Mappers
