As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. In this people-first role, you will support access awareness, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and work with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including office areas, lobbies, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, following site-specific protocols to help support an orderly environment for employees, guests, and vendors.
• Assist with security-related checks of doors, gates, and/or other designated areas, and communicate maintenance, life-related, or procedural issues to site contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
