Pay: $23/hour
Start Date: September 22, 2026
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts | Start times may vary between 7 AM, 8 AM, and 9 AM
Position Details
Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Patient Services Representative / ER Admitting Representative for a 13-week contract.
Requirements:
- 1–2+ years of patient registration or clerical experience
- Experience with patient demographics and insurance information
- Strong computer and customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must live within 30 miles of the facility
- Must be available for rotating weekends and holidays
- Pre-test required before submission
- Business casual dress
Responsibilities
- Interview patients and collect demographic, financial, and insurance information
- Enter and update patient information in the computer system
- Verify insurance and identify insurance codes
- Obtain patient consents and authorizations
- Answer phones and provide customer service
- Assist with scheduling and department needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
