Clinical Research - Sr Patient Recruiter

POSITION The Senior Patient Recruitment Specialist will help develop and execute patient recruitment strategies for clinical trials conducted at the Covina site. This person will contact and screen potential participants, review medical information, assess preliminary eligibility, and look for appropriate next steps when a patient does not immediately qualify for a specific study. This is not simply a scripted calling position. The ideal candidate will be curious, strategic, clinically knowledgeable, and comfortable reviewing large amounts of participant information to identify possible enrollment opportunities. The role will also support recruitment events, monitor performance metrics, improve processes, and may provide a path toward future recruitment leadership. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage a high volume of outbound and inbound calls with potential clinical trial participants Conduct detailed phone screenings using study protocols, eligibility criteria, medical history, and approved recruitment materials Ask thoughtful follow-up questions and explore appropriate study opportunities rather than ending conversations when a participant does not qualify for the first study discussed Accurately document participant information, screening outcomes, follow-up activity, and appointment status within study databases and the clinical trial management system Track recruitment activity, including calls, completed pre-screens, scheduled screenings, attendance, enrollment progress, and other site metrics Participate in community events, health screenings, open houses, study meetings, recruitment planning, and departmental process-improvement efforts QUALIFICATIONS At least three years of clinical research experience in patient recruitment, clinical research coordination, or a closely related position Working knowledge of clinical trial protocols, medical terminology, patient screening, and research compliance requirements Strong critical-thinking skills and the curiosity to investigate potential enrollment opportunities beyond a basic screening script Comfort working with high volumes of participant data, Microsoft Office applications, spreadsheets, databases, and clinical research systems Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, collaborate across clinical and operational teams, and help mentor less-experienced employees Bilingual English and Spanish skills are strongly preferred but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr Sqrl
