Join Our Team as a Senior Revenue Accountant in Austin, TX!
Are you an experienced accountant with a passion for revenue recognition? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in the vibrant city of Austin, Texas. Known for its thriving tech scene, live music, and cultural diversity, Austin offers an exciting place to live and work.
As a key member of our finance team, you will plan and perform analyses and reconciliation of complex deals, ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting and revenue recognition policies. Collaborate with various departments, including Sales, Operations, and Legal, to meet revenue goals. Monitor changes in accounting guidance and ensure accurate reporting of revenue. Provide support for month-end close activities and work with auditors to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to IFRS and CPL revenue policy.
- Analyze and document sales transactions.
- Research and resolve revenue recognition issues.
- Process, record, and reconcile revenue and deferred revenue.
- Provide monthly revenue reporting and analysis.
- Assist in training efforts on revenue recognition principles.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience with Oracle ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of IFRS 15 and pending Topic 606.
Preferences
- 1 to 3 years of experience in revenue recognition.
- CPA certification.
- Experience with RevStream or RevPro software.
- Adaptability to change and willingness to learn.
