Job Description As a Security Government Building Access Control in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at an innovative technology-focused location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $24.50 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeThur09:00 PM - 05:30 AMFri09:00 PM - 05:30 AMSat09:00 PM - 05:30 AMSun09:00 PM - 05:30 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including interior and exterior areas as assigned. Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience. Possess 2+ years of security-related experience. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
