Advanced Practice Provider (PA) – UNC Health Primary Care at Garner Specialty: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Location: 610 Timber Drive, Garner, NC Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. UNC Primary Care at Garner is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our primary care team at this brand new, state‑of‑the‑art facility. Ideal Candidate Qualifications Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain one) Strong interest in caring for medically complex adult patients Demonstrated experience and interest in addressing mental health needs within a primary care setting Clinical Services Provided Comprehensive preventive healthcare Acute and sick care Annual physicals and wellness visits Immunizations Women's health services Management of acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma Routine screening and diagnostic testing Qualifications Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (PA) Active North Carolina license (or eligibility to obtain one) Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience Completion of an accredited graduate‑level Advanced Practice Provider (PA) program Board certification if required by the Department Demonstrated clinical competency Effective leadership and strong interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing About the Community Garner is a town located in Wake County, just south of downtown Raleigh, North Carolina.
