Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, offering you the flexibility to conduct sessions via telehealth. The typical work schedule spans Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening hours and rotating weekends. As telehealth plays a central role in our service delivery model, you will utilize secure online platforms to engage with students and families, ensuring that mental health services are accessible regardless of geographic constraints. Your on-call capabilities for urgent matters will also enhance the level of support we deliver.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students with diverse special needs, developing a rich understanding of their emotional, social, and cognitive histories.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address mental health issues, emotional well-being, and facilitate successful integration into the school environment.

• Provide evidence-based interventions utilizing therapeutic modalities tailored to ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, ADHD, and trauma.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on personal growth, coping strategies, and emotional regulation.
\n
• Collaborate closely with educators, occupational therapists, and other professionals in crafting a holistic support strategy for each student.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
\n
• Educate students and families about mental health conditions and available resources, fostering informed engagement with the care process.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation as per legal and ethical standards to ensure quality and compliance.
\n
• Engage in team meetings and case conferences, contributing actively to discussions about student progress and best practice strategies.

• Stay informed about current laws, regulations, and best practices in mental health care to provide the highest standard of support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with students who have special education needs, including but not limited to ASD, ADHD, and those dealing with past trauma. Your efforts will be instrumental in helping them navigate their emotional landscapes and foster resilience, ensuring they have the tools to succeed both academically and personally. Your specialized skills will allow you to address complex situations and tailor your approach to each student's unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Proven expertise in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments, diagnosing conditions, and formulating effective treatment plans.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering strong rapport with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two years of post-licensure experience in providing mental health services, preferably within a school or educational setting.
