This MHT would work with other ancillary staff to identify resources and support, as part of the treatment plan to produce better health outcomes for our patients.ResponsibilitiesProvide behavioral health counseling servicesConduct patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goalsAdminister individual and group therapyMaintain thorough and confidential records of observationsEvaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventionsProvide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the communityWork directly with the patient, family, provider and community providers to ensure active and collaborate careProvide assessment, social services and counseling to patients, and their families in relation to social, psychological, financial and family situations.Provide individual, group and family psychotherapyDocument therapies and treatmentAssist with direct patient care as neededInitiate and conduct educational programs for staff as neededAssessing, diagnosing, and treating clients/patients as consistent with mental health therapy licensuresDevelop and maintain good working relationships with outside community health and social agencies and reaches out to the community to develop new resources for meeting patient needsConduct training programs, giving presentations and public speaking with outside organizations regarding health and wellnessPublic speaking and giving presentations to patients during groups and other initiativesFunction as lead therapist regarding trauma and personality disorders, providing clinical consultation to staffProvide clinical consultation to clinical staff about mental health issues for various patient populations, including geriatric and substance use disordersInterpret and communicate necessary information regarding patients and families including social history information to staff and providersCoordinate planning, make recommendations, and facilitate decision-making concerning individual patient care plans especially regarding the home situationPlan treatments and review provider casesAs the community and surrounding resource centers begin learning about Suvida, opportunities for being a brand ambassador may arisePerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesVerbal communication2+ years of professional experience recommended.Ability to make professional evaluations, decisions, and recommendations for treatment planning and implementation.Exceptional interpersonal skills and sympathetic natureBi-lingual (Spanish/English) requiredEducation, Experience, Licensure, or Certification RequirementsMaster's degree required (Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling)Licensing- One of the following independent licenses:Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or LPC AssociateLicensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or LCSW AssociateLicensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or LMFT AssociateSuvida Healthcare provides equal employment opportunities to all team members and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type with regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.
