The Manual Machine Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of packaging machines within the production environment. This position involves independent operation with periodic supervision and full responsibility for machine setup, adjustments, and routine maintenance during an 8-hour shift. The operator will focus on maintaining production quality and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machines with full responsibility for setup and adjustments
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure machine efficiency
- Handle materials required for machine operation
- Monitor production processes and output quality
- Troubleshoot machine issues promptly to reduce downtime
- Must be able to move around to different machines as well as different departments.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in machine operation
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Knowledge of safety procedures and adherence to protocols
- Basic math skills for measurements and adjustments
- Effective time management skills
