The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add an experienced cook to work with a highly motivated and energetic kitchen staff in our Burlington, MA location for our Dining & Events division. As a cook for Corporate Chefs, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, efficient environment and cook delicious meals. What you'll be doing:
- Quality and portion control
- Food preparation
- Creative food presentation
- Maintaining kitchen
- Ensuring food is stored properly
- Following safe food handling policies, procedures and recipes
What we're looking for:
Pantry
Must-haves:
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Knowledge of food storage and safety procedures.
Nice-to-haves:
- At least one years’ experience in a foodservice environment.
Commissary
Must-haves:
- Knowledge of correctional facility standards and requirements, and an ability to adhere to these standards and requirements.
- Excellent customer service and computer skills.
- Have excellent communication and organization skills.
Nice-to-haves:
- At least one years’ prior experience in a commissary program.
Compensation Range
$23 per hour
