Job Title: Refinery Planner/Scheduler

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Refinery Planner/Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing refinery operations by developing comprehensive plans and schedules. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refinery processes, possess excellent organizational and analytical skills, and be adept at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning:
   • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and logistics teams to develop detailed production plans that align with refinery goals and objectives.
   • Analyze production requirements, inventory levels, and resource availability to create efficient and achievable production schedules.
2. Scheduling:
   • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long-term schedules for refinery operations.
   • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless execution of the production schedule, taking into account equipment availability and maintenance requirements.
   • Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand, equipment failures, or other unforeseen circumstances.
3. Resource Optimization:
   • Optimize the utilization of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
   • Work closely with procurement and inventory management teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and spare parts.
4. Data Analysis:
   • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in refinery processes.
   • Utilize historical data and performance metrics to make informed decisions and continuously enhance planning and scheduling processes.
