Senior Packager, Pilot

Edwards Lifesciences seeks a Senior Packager for pilot manufacturing operations in Irvine, California. The role involves packaging medical devices for cardiovascular applications, performing quality inspections, labeling, and maintaining clean room standards while working independently and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Inspect labels and packaging against quality, regulatory, and SOP standards; perform inner and outer packaging at mastered level
• Generate and apply labels to packaging; perform re-labeling and packaging of warehouse returns and NCR repairs
• Conduct line clearance including workstation cleaning and sanitization; prepare components and tools for production
• Perform integrity peel-testing of inside packaging pouches and palletize products for sterilization services
• Train and coach junior employees; mentor staff on correct work procedures and quality compliance

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in GMP, clean room, and medical device manufacturing
• Fluent in English: read, write, speak, and receive feedback
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with JDE systems and manufacturing documentation
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision following detailed instructions
• Understanding of pouch peel-test integrity and sterilization procedures
• Attention to detail and strict compliance with quality standards

Compensation: $45,000-$62,000 base
