Human Resource Manager $70,000 - $80,000 per year | Salisbury, MD | On-site | Permanent A bit about us: We are seeking a dynamic, seasoned Human Resource Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in all aspects of HR, including benefits and payroll, training development, auditing, HRIS, employment law, onboarding, employee relations, policy administration, HR Policies & Procedures, and recruiting. This role will involve supporting a network of 15+ franchises and will require regular travel. The successful candidate will be an expert in conflict resolution and will have a proven track record of creating and maintaining a positive, productive work environment. Why join us? Great benefits package 401(k) retirement savings plan Excellent paid time off (PTO) Company‑provided life insurance Job Details Responsibilities Oversee and manage all HR functions, including benefits, payroll, training development, auditing, HRIS, employment law, onboarding, employee relations, and policy administration. Develop, implement, and enforce HR Policies & Procedures. Provide support to a network of 15+ franchises, including regular travel to each location. Resolve conflicts and manage employee relations issues, ensuring a positive, productive work environment. Recruit, interview, and hire new staff members, ensuring they are properly onboarded and trained. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations. Conduct regular audits of HR practices to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement. Utilize HRIS systems for data management and analysis, improving efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resource role, preferably in a managerial position. Extensive knowledge and experience in benefits and payroll, training development, auditing, HRIS, employment law, onboarding, employee relations, policy administration, HR Policies & Procedures, and recruiting. Experience supporting multiple locations or franchises, with a willingness to travel regularly. Proven conflict resolution skills, with an ability to manage difficult situations and maintain a positive, productive work environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in HRIS systems for data management and analysis. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus. Join our team to help us create a positive, productive work environment for our employees.
