Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients and their circumstances to formulate effective treatment plans.

• Facilitating both individual and couple’s therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each family’s needs.

• Specializing in areas like alcohol abuse, family conflicts, job stress, and adjustment issues, ensuring care is comprehensive.

• Providing ongoing support and intervention to help clients navigate significant life changes, such as separation, divorce, and blended family dynamics.

• Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records of therapies conducted, participating in team meetings to discuss case management.

• Engaging in continuous professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and stay abreast of industry best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients range from individuals to families, including children and adolescents. As an LMFT, you will address a variety of issues specifically affecting families, including but not limited to:

• Conflict resolution strategies to improve communication among family members.
\n
• Integration support for blended families, assisting in fostering relationships between step-siblings and parents.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Illinois.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.
