Regional Sales Manager | Commercial P&C Insurance Location: Southern California Travel: Regular travel throughout Southern California territory About the Opportunity A rapidly growing commercial insurance organization is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive agency engagement, grow submission volume, and expand market presence throughout Southern California. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for agency partners, managing relationships from onboarding through long term growth while acting as a trusted resource within the commercial insurance marketplace. This role is ideal for a sales focused insurance professional who thrives in a relationship driven environment and enjoys developing agency partnerships, identifying growth opportunities, and driving production results. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute territory growth strategies across Southern California. Build, manage, and deepen relationships with independent insurance agencies and broker partners. Drive new business submissions and expand premium volume within existing agency relationships. Conduct agency meetings, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions to identify production opportunities. Represent the organization at industry events, networking functions, and agency visits throughout the territory. Collaborate with underwriting, marketing, and service teams to deliver solutions and support agency partners. Analyze production trends and market opportunities to maximize territory performance. Recruit, onboard, and activate new agency partners while strengthening existing relationships. Qualifications 5+ years of commercial P&C insurance experience with a carrier, MGA, wholesaler, or retail brokerage. Proven success in territory management, agency development, business development, production, or distribution roles. Established relationships with independent agencies within the Southern California market preferred. Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and agency distribution. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated professional capable of managing a territory with a high degree of autonomy.
