Work Environment This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while interacting with clients via video chat. Our outpatient model ensures that you can engage with stable, low-acuity adults who require psychological support. Key Responsibilities As a Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Conducting individualized counseling sessions through video conferencing platforms with a focus on ethical and compassionate care. Utilizing solution-based treatment modalities to implement evidence-based techniques tailored to each client’s unique needs. Developing, executing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans that align with clients' recovery goals. Helping clients gain insights into their thoughts, emotions, and interpersonal relationships, fostering self-awareness. Continually assessing client progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed to promote effective coping mechanisms and strategies. Documenting session details and maintaining client records while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be working with stable, low-acuity adults who present a variety of mental health concerns. You will support clients facing issues such as anxiety, stress, and life transitions, using your expertise to help them cultivate a better quality of life. Your work will directly influence their overall mental wellness and help them gain tools for sustainable improvement in their everyday lives. Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications: A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline, such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. A current, state-issued mental health counseling license for independent practice. We seek professionals with licenses such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW. No limited/provisional licenses. Candidates must not have any history of disciplinary actions related to their professional practice. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a client-centered approach. Proficient computer literacy, facilitating smooth virtual counseling sessions. Necessary technology including a computer with webcam and audio capabilities, as well as reliable internet access. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling is required. Familiarity with telehealth practices and online counseling tools is highly advantageous, given the remote nature of the role. Counselors who have worked with diverse populations and possess cultural competency will find this position particularly rewarding. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, based on experience and hours worked.
