Akkodis is hiring an E-Billing Specialist for a direct hire role in Cleveland, OH . Base pay range $70.00/yr - $85.00/yr Electronic Billing Specialist – Job Description Key Responsibilities Provide electronic billing support for assigned clients and matter teams. Set up clients on various e-billing vendor websites and maintain active profiles. Perform monthly maintenance on e-billing platforms, including updating rates, accruals, budgets, and status reports. Ensure all electronic invoices comply with client guidelines and vendor requirements. Submit monthly electronic bills through Billblast and monitor submissions for approval status. Review, troubleshoot, and resolve invoice rejections; collaborate with Billing Specialists, clients, and vendors to prepare appeals as needed. Review and prioritize incoming tickets related to electronic billing tasks. Maintain accurate data within the Billblast platform and support updates as required. Use Excel to review, adjust, and prepare billing data prior to Billblast entry. Track and complete billing-related requests within the firm’s internal ticketing system. Generate and distribute reports using e-billing platforms and firm systems. Ensure high accuracy and attention to detail to prevent billing errors or client discounts. Systems & Tools Primary platforms: Billblast (Aderant), E-Billing Hub (competitor) Additional e-billing systems: Tymetrix360, Collaboration Portal, Corridor, Collaborati, Onit, Legal Tracker, CounselGo, CounselLink Productivity tools: Excel (advanced skills required), MS Word, PowerPoint Nice to have: Basic SQL knowledge (not required) Qualifications Experience with legal e-billing platforms such as Billblast or E-Billing Hub. Strong Excel skills, including the ability to edit, analyze, and format billing data. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to collaborate effectively with billers, clients, and vendors. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Familiarity with legal billing or law firm environments is preferred.
