Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients’ mood disorder symptoms, adapting the approach as necessary based on these evaluations.

• Collaborate with clients to create customized treatment plans that align with their specific goals, preferences, and life circumstances.

• Implement a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, explore available treatment options, and guide them in developing healthy self-care practices.

• Regularly monitor clients' progress to ensure that treatment plans are effective, making adjustments as necessary to optimize mental health outcomes.

• Remain informed about current research, trends, and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic methods and improve client care.

• Maintain detailed and confidential client records in compliance with professional, legal, and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse population encompassing individuals, couples, and families who are dealing primarily with mood disorders such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and stress-related conditions. Your empathetic approach, facilitated by strong communication skills, will be essential in fostering trust and encouraging clients to openly discuss their experiences and struggles.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Must possess a valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a mental health setting, providing therapy or counseling services.

• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills to establish a secure and trusting therapeutic rapport with clients.
