Brock & Scott, PLLC is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support an attorney and paralegal/manager with the day-to-day operations of the law office. This position will provide administrative and legal support to the team while assisting with case-related tasks and helping ensure compliance with client requirements and applicable legal regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic legal environment. Prior legal experience is preferred but not required.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and paralegals with the daily operations of the office.
  • Assist with preparing, proofreading, and organizing legal documents and correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and ensure information is updated in applicable systems.
  • Assist with monitoring deadlines, client requirements, firm procedures, and applicable legal regulations.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, paralegals, court personnel, and other parties as needed.
  • Utilize and learn legal software, web-based systems, and other technology necessary to perform assigned duties.
  • Assist with various administrative and case-related projects as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and firm information and exercise appropriate discretion and judgment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
