Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to determine patients' mental health status, identifying strengths and areas of need.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to address mental health challenges.

• Collaborate effectively with school staff, psychiatrists, and medical personnel to develop a coordinated treatment plan tailored to the individual needs of each student.

• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and medications to foster understanding and adherence.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to promote healing and growth.

• Work collaboratively with the treatment team to develop and implement treatment plans that align with patient goals and preferences.

• Advocate for patients, assisting them in navigating the complexities of the mental health system while ensuring their rights and needs are upheld.
