Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote working environment which allows for flexibility and comfort, while still benefitting from the supportive network of a passionate team of professionals. While you will primarily work from home, you will remain an integral part of our community health center team through regular virtual check-ins, collaborative treatment planning sessions, and telehealth service provision. Our typical working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility of occasional evening or weekend hours, depending on client needs and therapy session scheduling.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct clinical services to clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities tailored to individual client needs.

• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with multidisciplinary teams, fostering a team-oriented approach to achieve shared objectives and optimal patient outcomes.

• Demonstrate cultural competence by effectively and respectfully interacting with clients from diverse backgrounds, traditions, and beliefs, ensuring an inclusive therapeutic environment.

• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to enhance clients' coping skills and emotional well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Clinical Social Worker at Inspiring Possibilities, you will work with a diverse client population that includes children, adolescents, and adults. Many of our clients face challenges such as trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, and other significant mental health conditions. Your role will be vital in providing both crisis intervention and ongoing support, focusing on empowering clients through choice and effective decision-making, thus improving overall mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification valid in California.
