CT Technologist -Nights

This posting reflects an opening for a MRI Technologist I and we are seeking candidates for that position. We encourage all qualified individuals to apply. Union: Yes Job Duties Performs CT procedures to acquire digital images for use by physicians in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Plans and performs all CT procedures and post processing using advanced technology based on clinical criteria, anatomy and established protocols. Ensures protocols are based on guidelines and CT scanner’s integration into the program that compiles dose data from each scan performed and notifies the user when a scan exceeds preset levels. Provides technical expertise to operate CT Scanners, power injectors and computer systems to acquire images for the radiologist in diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. Maintains knowledge to operate different CT Systems at multiple locations. Maintains protocols based on Image Gently Guidelines and dose monitoring. Obtains CT images according to established protocols, ensuring patient is prepared, positioned, immobilized, shielding used when applicable and correct technical factors selected. Performs CT Interventional Procedures and CTA imaging (Carotid, Head, Vertebral, Run‑Offs, PE with critical bolus timing). Conducts advanced CTA studies such as TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac imaging. Monitors pharmacology to ensure lab results are obtained prior to scheduled exam. Applies knowledge of physiology and physics to produce quality scans in suboptimal conditions and lower patient dose. Interprets technical factors to increase quality or speed of scan. Works in a clinical environment and complies with all organization policies and procedures. Qualifications Graduate from Specialty Training Program (Required). Certification: Basic Life Support Certification – Default Issuing Body. Certified Radiology Technologist within 12 months of certification – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Knowledge of major organ systems, vascular systems for thoracic, abdominal, pelvic, neuro, and musculoskeletal imaging. Experience with image acquisition, patient preparation, protocol selection, and dose monitoring. Ability to perform interventional and advanced CTA studies.
