Accounting Manager

Chester County, PA | Manufacturing Company About the Opportunity The company has experienced significant growth and is investing heavily in its Exton, PA manufacturing operation , including additional capacity to support continued expansion and acquisitions. This is an opportunity to join a small corporate accounting team during a period of increased sophistication and growth. The new CFO is building out the organization and looking for someone who can take ownership of SEC/financial reporting while helping develop the accounting function. Why This Role Stands Out Growing public company with an acquisition-driven growth strategy Significant revenue growth with plans to scale substantially over the coming years Opportunity to work closely with the CFO, Controller, and senior leadership Role is expected to grow into a Controller position as the company expands Ability to bring your expertise and take ownership of your responsibilities Opportunity to oversee and mentor 1–2 accounting professionals Exposure to both SEC reporting and technical accounting What You'll Be Doing Lead and oversee SEC and external financial reporting , including 10-Q and 10-K filings Research, analyze, and document technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities Partner with external auditors and manage audit requests and technical accounting matters Evaluate new accounting standards and their impact on the business Oversee and mentor 1–2 accounting team members Work cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and other members of the corporate team Take on increasing responsibility as the organization continues to grow The Ideal Background Bachelor's degree in Accounting required CPA strongly preferred 3–4+ years of Big 4 experience with SEC-registered clients , or approximately 4–6 years of combined public accounting and industry experience Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting Inventory accounting experience is highly preferred Comfortable working in a hands-on, team-oriented environment Strong communication skills and ability to mentor others You'll be joining a lean corporate team where your expertise will have a direct impact, with a planned path toward Controller-level responsibility as the company continues to grow through acquisitions and expansion. #J-18808-Ljbffr Atlantic Group
