You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and respond to alarms and security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a corporate technology and media location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of corporate offices, common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, report irregularities, and assist with access-control processes as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site requirements.
• Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
